Some properties such as urban row houses do not have space for a walk-through door. If quick and easy access into the garage is a requirement, consider a wicket door—a “door within a door.” During Medieval times, it was not unusual to find small wicket doors built within the massive entry doors of churches and castles, allowing one person at a time to pass through without having to open the huge and heavy entry door.
We have brought this concept into the 21st century. The wicket door allows people to enter or leave the garage without having to raise or lower the entire garage door, saving energy and effort.
