Feb. 13, 2008.Designer Doors announces a new line of overhead doors that makes custom looks more affordable. Woodscapes by Designer Doors is positioned between the entry level Timbercraft™ line and industry-best I-Frame™ line. This addition to the Designer Doors product portfolio results in the most comprehensive line of wood overhead doors in the industry. With architecturally compatible entranceways, walk-through doors, shutters and gates, Designer Door is uniquely positioned as the ultimate provider of Architctural Harmony™ to the high-end residential market.
Woodscapes is available in either clear grade Western Red Cedar or luxurious African Mahogany over a rugged kiln-dried pint frame. More than 70 designs appear to slide, swing, or fold open, yet operate overhead like modern garage doors.
Options include 4 and 6" v-groove, 4" beaded, 4" flush face and exterior-grade MDF for painted surfaces. Customers can also select one of four muntin styles, and vertical or spined herringbone orientation.
Moisture control features include vent holes to allow air movement, a bevel on the trim board under the lites and a beveled drip cap on the door face to deflect water.
